The good news is that Lana Del Rey is as mellow and languorous on her new album as she was on her debut. In fact, the Paradise Edition of Del Rey's 2012 first effort, Born To Die
is a repackaging of the polarizing disc with eight new songs.

The revamped version of the album, which has sold just under 350,000 copies in the U.S. and more than 2.5 million worldwide, will hit stores on November 13. The eight new songs will be available as a stand-alone CD entitled Paradise, or in a double-disc set with the entire first album and the bonus disc, as well as a deluxe version, which will include both albums, an 8-track remix CD with six music videos and a two-track 7" vinyl version of "Blue Velvet."

The first single from the collection is the Rick Rubin-produced slow burn "Ride," which was written by Del Rey and her "Video Games" collaborator Justin Parker. The other news songs on the collection include "American," "Cola," "Body Electric," "Gods and Monsters," "Yayo," "Bel Air" and a cover of the 1950s classic "Blue Velvet," which is being used as part of her H&M ad campaign.

A YouTube trailer featuring snippets of the new songs gives a peek at the gangster Nancy Sinatra singer's ongoing fascination with a sleepy, seductive sound and lyrics that mix old-fashion girl group obsession with sometimes profane, shocking new school swagger.

While fans await the new album, rapper French Montana recently told MTV News that he's prepping a new single with Nicki Minaj, but that he's also recorded tunes with M.I.A. and Del Rey that he's considering as singles from his debut album, Excuse My French.
